Police conducted checks in the city where university students live

In Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale, security, traffic, and narcotics checks were carried out in areas heavily populated by university students.

As part of the operation conducted by Kırıkkale Provincial Police Department teams, controls were carried out particularly around KYK dormitories and points where student activity is high. Teams stopped vehicles in the district, home to approximately 38,000 students, and conducted background checks (GBT) on drivers and passengers. Narcotics checks were also carried out as part of the fight against drugs. Provincial Police Chief Mustafa Işık visited the checkpoints and wished the personnel success. After receiving information about the operations, Işık also spoke with citizens for a while. Deputy provincial police chiefs and branch managers also participated in the inspections.

It was reported that the inspections are being conducted to ensure peace and security, especially in areas with high concentrations of young people. – KIRIKKALE
