Drivers will be able to see radar and checkpoints in real time

A new era has begun in speed control. Radar and traffic control points can now be viewed on a map.

The Ministry of Interior has implemented a new system to ensure traffic safety and encourage drivers to comply with speed limit warnings. According to this system, drivers can now see all radar and control points along their routes in real-time.

The new system is located on a page created on the Ministry of Interior’s website. Drivers can access the map, which is updated approximately every 30 minutes, by entering the “Number of radar and control point enforcement points between provinces” category.

**CREATING A ROUTE**
Drivers who enter the “Number of radar and control point enforcement points between provinces” category are first presented with two main sections: “From” and “To”.

After filling in these fields with the province and district of departure and the province and district of destination, they click “Create Route,” and then the radars, speed corridors, and control points along the route are listed one by one.

For example, a driver traveling from Sarıyer, Istanbul to Soma, Manisa will encounter 16 checkpoints, 2 radar points, and 3 speed corridors along their route.

As another example, a driver wanting to go from Beylikdüzü, Istanbul to Şarköy, Tekirdağ will face four radar points, seven checkpoints, and 16 speed corridors.
