Concrete mixer rolled into the stream. The driver got lost in the current

A concrete mixer that went out of control on Bitlis’ Tatvan-Hizan highway flew into the stream. A large number of teams were dispatched to the region for the driver Engin Aras, who was caught in the current, and search efforts are continuing.

The accident occurred in the Hazo region of the Tatvan-Hizan highway. Engin Aras lost control of the concrete mixer and rolled into the stream.

Upon notice, AFAD, UMKE, 112 Emergency Health, fire brigade, police and gendarmerie teams were dispatched to the region. While gendarmerie and police teams took security measures in the area, teams including diver police started a search in the stream for Engin Aras, who was reported to have been swept away by the current.

The search efforts of the teams continue.
