The massive project starts in 9 neighborhoods and will be completed entirely

In Adana, ongoing works include the renovation of the drinking water pipeline covering 9 neighborhoods.

Adana Metropolitan Municipality Deputy Mayor Güngör Geçer stated that the aim of this project is to largely eliminate problems such as frequent water cuts and lack of water access to upper floors, especially during the summer months.

Geçer explained that teams inspecting the ongoing works in the Çamlıbel neighborhood have replaced the existing 700 mm pipes in the drinking water pipeline.

With a total pipeline replacement of 1300 meters, the infrastructure in the region will be strengthened and the water transmission capacity will be increased.

Upon completion of the project, the following neighborhoods will receive direct and uninterrupted drinking water:

Çamlıbel

Şehit Erkut Akbay

Yenidoğan

Levent

Güzelevler

İncirlik

Kozan

Yeşilbağlar

Alihocalı

Geçer also noted that the problem of low pressure, particularly in higher elevation areas, will be significantly resolved with this investment.
