The father shot and killed his son with a shotgun after an argument

In Ballık Village, located in the central district of Kastamonu, 67-year-old E.G. had an argument with his 33-year-old son, Murat Gökdağ, for an unknown reason. The argument escalated into a fight, during which E.G. shot his son with a horse-drawn rifle found in the house. Murat Gökdağ, who sustained a severe abdominal injury, died at the scene.

Following the incident, E.G. was taken into custody by gendarmerie teams. After the investigation by the Public Prosecutor and the Crime Scene Investigation teams, Murat Gökdağ’s body was taken to the morgue of Kastamonu Training and Research Hospital. The investigation into the incident continues.
