Kahramanmaraş Provincial Director of National Education was dismissed

The Ministry of National Education reported that Kahramanmaraş Provincial Director of National Education Erhan Baydur was dismissed in order to ensure that the administrative investigation regarding the attack at Ayser Çalık Secondary School was carried out properly.

In the statement made by the Ministry, it was stated that the process regarding the attack at Ayser Çalık Secondary School in Kahramanmaraş’s Onikişubat district on April 15 was closely followed by the Ministry, and the following was noted:

“The examination and investigation carried out by the chief inspectors of our Ministry’s Inspection Board Presidency in order to investigate the incident in all its dimensions continues in a multifaceted manner. Kahramanmaraş Provincial Director of National Education Erhan Baydur has been dismissed to ensure that the investigation is carried out properly within the scope of the administrative processes initiated following the heinous incident. The issue is being handled with care and sensitivity in all its aspects, and developments regarding the process will be shared with the public.”
