25% INCREASE IN ELECTRICITY AND NATURAL GAS PRICES
The Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK) announced a significant increase in electricity and natural gas tariffs. The new increased tariffs will be applied to all subscriber groups starting tomorrow.

PRICE INCREASE RATES FOR RESIDENTIAL AND SUBSCRIBER GROUPS
According to the EPDK statement, electricity prices for residential subscribers have increased by 25%. In other subscriber groups, the increase rates were as follows:

• Low voltage public and private services: 17.5%

• Medium voltage industrial subscribers: 5.8%

• Medium voltage agricultural activities: 24.8%

With these increases, the bill for a residential subscriber consuming 100 kWh of electricity was calculated as 323.8 TL.

CHANGES IN NATURAL GAS PRICES
In line with the wholesale prices announced by BOTAŞ, an average increase of 25% was made for residential consumers in natural gas. The increase rate was 18.61% for industrial subscribers and 19.42% for electricity generation plants. In addition, a tiered pricing system was introduced for residential subscribers.

EFFECTIVE DATE OF TARIFFS
The new electricity and natural gas tariffs will come into effect on April 4, 2026. Citizens will have to pay their bills according to the increased tariffs from this date onwards.
